Daikari Miki--DP Style

This is for a Danny Phantom fic I'm working on called "The Path of Vengance."

"He looked up from where he lay stunned. The blue flames, the shadowy figure, the eyes. His dream. And then the figure stepped forward. No longer sillouetted against the flames, the figure stood revealed as a girl. A girl surely not much older than himself. As her face became visible, he saw the scar. It was the color of old blood. It ran from under her snow-white hair, over her left eye--glowing green?--and cheek, and under her chin. Her skin was pale, almost blue in the light of the flames. And in her hands she carried a naked blade.

'I will not let you interfere, boy.'

She raised the blade. It was blacker than the night surrounding them, and as it caught the light of the flames, seemed to take on a glow of its own.

'Make your peace.'

As she brought the blade down, the air shrieked with its passing. And Danny knew that this time he would not awaken just as the blade made contact. He closed his eyes..."
